Erin painting with pastels at her studio easel

Erin Pryor Gill is a fine artist living in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, where she is inspired daily by the surrounding landscape and historic architecture. She works primarily in pastels, but also in oils and various printmaking techniques.

Erin majored in painting and printmaking at Alfred University, and received a BFA in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology. She started out freelancing as an illustrator and graphic designer, then transitioned her professional focus to her own artwork.

Her paintings have been displayed in exhibitions of the Pastel Society of America and the International Association of Pastel Societies, where she has earned Master Circle designation.

In addition to studio work, Erin enjoys painting outdoors, both on her own and for juried plein air events like Plein Air Brandywine Valley, Paint Out Chadds Ford and Paint It! Ellicott City.
